The Christian Storytellers Manifesto

Christian storytelling is lacking.

Lacking the life and realistic element that fiction is supposed to have. People are drifting away from the Christian genre of books. It doesn’t have the can’t-put-it-down writing that secular books seem to have done so much better. Lacking resolve. The resolve to write fiction that is well-written to best give our messages to the world.

It doesn’t have to be like this.

Stories should impact lives. Change lives. Impart truths. Especially stories that we feel God wants us to write.

So how can we come together, and dedicate our stories to God and the world that needs to hear them?

Whether you’ve been writing for five, ten, fifteen years, or just beginning, this…this is the first step…

The Christian Storytellers Manifesto.

Our mission, our vision, and the goals we strive for, on one page. Simple. Powerful. Life-changing.

Story Embers, a site dedicated to guiding Christian storytellers to writing well and impacting lives, has created this manifesto.

They’re asking for your signature. Mine. And anyone else’s that believes in this calling and mission.

So will you join me? Will you place your signature next to mine and so many others, dedicating yourself to writing well, writing for Christ, and writing to change lives?

If so, read the manifesto. Ponder it. Talk to your family about it. Don’t make a hasty decision. This is a serious commitment.

*****THE CHRISTIAN STORYTELLERS MANIFESTO*****

I know I’ve gone out of my usual blogging schedule to tell you all this (another post still coming on Saturday), but it’s important to me. And I wanted to share it with you, in case you hadn’t gotten wind of this yet. I wish you all a blessed rest of your week!

Write on,
