Looking Back {March wrap-up}

I haven’t done monthly wrap-up posts in the past, but I’ve always enjoyed reading them on other blogs. So I decided that I’d start doing it too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Here’s my wrap-up post for March!

Reading

Here are the books I finished in March…

  • Clinton Anderson’s Downunder Horsemanship: Establishing Respect and Control for English and Western Rider.ย This book was really interesting. I didn’t realize how important doing regular groundwork with horses to create a respectful animal is.ย Four star.
  • Twelve Extraordinary Women: How God Shaped Women of the Bible, and What He Wants to Do With You.ย A great book! It was really nice to be able to learn more about the more well-know women in the Bible (Jesus’ mother, Mary Magdelene, etc.) but also others that we don’t know as much about (sisters Mary and Martha, the Samaritan woman at the well, Rahab, etc.).ย Five star.
  • Merlin’s Nightmare (The Merlin Spiral, #3).ย The first book inย The Merlin Spiralย series will always be my favorite, but this one came in close second! I’m really liking Arthur; I can’t wait for his books to come out!ย Four star.ย

Yes, a pitiful list.

What I’m currently reading…

  • So Help Me God (by Roy Moore).
  • The Horseman’s Bible (by Jack Coggins).
  • Album of Horses (by Marguerite Henry).
  • The 49th Mystic (by Ted Dekker).

Quite a list. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Writing

Actual writing was a bit slow for this month. Life was just busy and a lot was going on. But I did make some good progress on developing some characters for my new superhero WIP,ย Embers.

Total words written in March: 774.ย (meh.)

Life Stuff

  • I got two wisdom teeth removed.ย That was…fun. Well, to be honest, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. At least I got a lot of reading done while I was recovering. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, so not much happened in March.

Something that I’m changing here on the blog though, is that from now on tags won’t be a part of my normal Saturday posting schedule. I have so many post ideas in drafts that I want to get out to you all, so if I’m tagged for a tag, that will probably be posted in the middle of the week.

NEW BLOG BLUE GRAPHIC
