One-Year Blogiversary Q&A|Part 2

What? Posting on a Tuesday? What is this madness?

The madness is that I didn’t expect to get so many questions that I didn’t leave a slot open on a Saturday or Wednesday to post a part 2.

So yeah. You guys are awesome.

So here are the rest of the questions!…

01. What would you do if you ran into one of your characters on the street?

Probably act like a fangirl and be like, “Oh my word, are you [insert name here]?! I’ve wanted to meet you all my life! Can I get your autograph? Can we take a picture?”

And then sit them down and comfort them about their miserable life. 😛

02. One question you’d ask your favorite author?

I’d probably ask about social media marketing and writing powerful themes.

03. Universal Studios or Disney-Pixar?

For sure Disney-Pixar. That’s my childhood right there.

04. Something completely random you’re passionate about?

Aesthetic anything! Collages, playlists, bedrooms, Pinterest boards, eVeRyThInG!

05. Little-known hero you look up to?

Parvin Blackwater from the Out of Time series.

06. Favorite blog tag??

This is a hard one, but I really enjoyed the Imaginary Assistant Tag and the Cover Love book tag.

07. Do you have a dream pet? (It can be fictional or non-fictional.)

A HORSE!!! I’ve wanted to own a horse for most of my life.

08. Cats or dogs?

I’m sorry cat-lovers, but I would choose dogs over cats any day.

09. If there’s one piece of advice you could give about riding a horse, what would it be?

Nice question. 🙂 Okay, I’m going to be a rule-breaker and give two (2) pieces of advice… one, if you take lessons, listen to your instructor (they usually know what they’re talking about) and ask lots of questions…two, exercise! Strength in the saddle is super important. (check out this site for some awesome stuff).

10. Pick an OC and give him/her a camera. What does (s)he take a picture of first?

If I gave a camera to Danni (from Danni’s Dilemma), she would probably take pictures of anything that’s bright and cheery and adorable.

11. What’s your favorite genre to write?

Sci-fi/futuristic. After writing exclusively historical fiction for years, I’ve swung to the other extreme.

12. Do you crochet?

Nope, but I’ve been knitting since I was 8.

13. If you could inhabit any fictional world, which would it be?

IIlyon from the Ilyon Chronicles by Jaye L. Knight.

14. What’s your favorite blog post you ever wrote?

I don’t know if I could pick just one, but I love all my Project Inspire posts. I really enjoy writing those.

15. Would you rather have to live in a hot air balloon for the rest of your life and never see anyone or be locked inside an empty room and come out every two years?

I’d take the room. Definitely the room. I am much afraid of the heights.

16. Favorite OTP?

Parvin and Solomon from the Out of Time series. Just yeeeessss.

17. Mushrooms on pizza: yay or nay?

Yay. But not too many.

18. Are porgs friends or food?

Porgs are friends! NOT. FOOD!

19. What was your first WIP?

My very first book was a little thing of stapled together paper about two siblings that were bees. 🙂

20. What is your favorite kind of chip?

Potato chips! Occasionally the salt and vinegar flavor.

21. Opinion on camels?

They are…funny looking. I’m honestly not a big fan (sorry).

22. Finally, the most important question of all: is it pronounced data or data?

Well, I pronounce it data, the “a” sound like in apple. Not sure if I’m correct on that though.

23. Out of the 5 senses, which is your favorite?

It would either be sight or hearing. Because I love seeing things (obviously) and I love to listen to music.

24. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Currently, moose-tracks.  Before that it was cookies & cream for years.

25. What is your favorite day of the week?

Believe it or not, Monday.  😛

26. Out of the 4 taste buds, which is your favorite?

???

Um, the ability to taste salty/savory foods???

27. If you were a dinosaur, what kind would you be?

I took a quick quiz, and this was my result…

Dilophosaurus

You like to surround yourself in calm atmospheres. You don’t mind sitting back and watching your handiwork unfold. It’s not that you’re afraid of the occasional brawl, you just prefer not to. You’re a quick thinker, and you always seem to accurately predict others decisions. You are the epitome of “genius”!

Guys, I’m a genius! 😀

28. What are your five favorite childhood books?

Winnie the Pooh, this scratch-and-sniff book that I can’t remember the title of, Little House on the Prairie, The Boxcar Children, and some books I wrote as a child (hehe 😛 ).

29. If you could travel back in time, what era would you chose?

Probably either Revolutionary War era or post-Civil War (a.k.a. Little House on the Prairie times 😉 ).

I hope you all enjoyed part 2 of the Q&A! I am so happy to be able to share my writing with you all, and I’m so grateful for you all following this blog and leaving comments. Thank you! <3

Meeting a character would be such a scary experience, honestly. Or maybe it’s just because I have a cast filled with conflicted antiheroes.
And I LOVE camels. XD But

Dang it! I posted too soon! I meant to say that I could see why someone wouldn’t like them as much because they do genuinely look kind of weird.

We pronounce data that same way. 👍 Hmm…I’ve really never interacted with camels, but they seem a little clumsy! I love things made of camel hair, though. Favorite ice cream?? Blue Bell Dutch chocolate!! This was so much fun. 😍

Ah, we both do? Well, then it’s GOT to be the right pronunciation! 😉
      Ooh, that sounds delicious…
      Glad you enjoyed it! 😀

Haha, yeah I figured my opinion of Mondays was going to be an unpopular one. XD Thanks for reading!

I loved reading your answers! 😀 I think camels are really cool, though my brother informed me that they’re really actually very bad tempered… XP And, yes, moose-tracks are the best!

My favorite ice cream is mint + chip…I just find the taste to be very refreshing. I am also a dog lover ( I LOVE dogs). I agree about mushrooms and LIVE for aesthetics. XD

Camels are very interesting creatures. I’m not sure quite what I think of them…lol.
Favorite ice cream: SALTED CARAMEL AND CHOCOLATE. JUST YES. I’ve been wanting to try moose tracks for a long time; they sound amazing, too!
