01. Are you a good swimmer?
I would say I’m a decent swimmer. I’m nowhere near having professional form and all that, but I won’t drown.
02. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish?
This is a really hard one. I guess I’d have to pick two things (#breakingtherules); dressing and these boiled greens medley my dad makes.
03. Are you currently obsessed with anything? (For example, a website, a song…)
Well, I’m always obsessed with books and music, but I’ll try to be more specific…recently my friend told me about a singer that she’s been enjoying, Lauren Daigle. I looked her up and listened to her song You Say, and I really like it! It’s a special moment when it comes on the radio. 😉
Oh, one other thing would be my Erin Condren planner. These planners are GORGEOUS and so much fun! Definitely take a look at their different designs.
04. If you could tell anybody one big thing about yourself, what would it be?

05. Have you ever considered keeping a bird?
Let me tell you something…my younger brother used to own birds. Six of them. And they were parakeets, apparently the most talkative of all pet bird kinds.
This has ruined my opinion of birds.
06. Do you talk with your hands?
I’ve actually been realizing recently how many hand gestures I use. I don’t get super wild, but I generally use some subtle gestures. 🙂
07. Would you rather use markers or crayons? (This one is hard… I’d prefer neither.)
You know, I never really liked crayons, even when I was a kid. So yeah, makers. 😉
08. How long has it been since you’ve flown a kite?
Oh, boy…I was probably younger than ten. That’s definitely something I need to do again.
09. Have you ever flown on an airplane? If so, to where?
Yup, several times, though I haven’t in years. If I remember right, the plane trips were always to California. Flying always makes me nervous…
10. What was the happiest day of your life?
This is probably the hardest question in all history of tag questions. There are so many special moments in my life, I don’t know how to choose. A few that automatically come to mind are 1) the day I officially accepted Christ 2) when my two younger siblings were born 3) when I went to my first writers conference, and I better stop before I go on and on. 😉
11. What is your go-to summer outfit?
The coolest thing in my drawer! Loose t-shirts, shorts, flip flops. I don’t think I wore any other shoe other than flip flops last summer. For some reason, I can’t stand for my feet to be too warm.

Yeah, I’d be hard-pressed to pick the happiest day of my life too!! Okay…I’m not a super fast swimmer, but I can keep at it for a while, so…yes? And yes, growing up traveling with the Army, I’ve flown dozens of times—enough that I got over my fear of it and really enjoy it now! One cool fact…I can quote the alphabet backwards. X’D
Swimming is a good skill to learn. 😊 That’s great that you’ve gotten over your fear of flying; I hope I will too. And that’s amazing! I don’t think I could do that even if I practiced! 😄👍
I’m so with you on not being a summer person. Ugh! Like, who really enjoys being hot and sweaty? #noone
I definitely talk with my hands. Most of my family is hard of hearing and it makes it easier to get my point across without having to repeat myself or shout at the top of my lungs.
And birds… never got why people want them as pets.Give me a cat any day. So peaceful and quiet. Easy to take care of too.

Birds just aren’t your cuddly type of pet, and like, isn’t that why we have pets??? I agree, cats are better (and dogs, guinea pigs, horses, goats…) 😉

Oh, good, I’m not the only one who gets anxious on plane rides! For some reason I can’t stop thinking about exactly how high we are, and what would happen if the engines failed, etc., etc. XD
