I think I first saw this award on Abbie’s blog, and since then I’ve been hoping that someone would tag me.

01. What’s the next book up on your TBR, and how many pages is it?

I actually don’t know currently. I’m planning on my next read to be from my haul from the Realm Makers conference this year, and I don’t know which one it will be. We will see!

 

02. Do you play any instruments? (If so, which one(s)?

Yes, this is my tenth year playing piano and I’m also trying to teach myself guitar and ukulele.

 

03. What’s your favorite TV show?

It’s a tie between the Andy Griffith show, Dick Van Dyke show, Little House on the Prairie, and Bonanza. 😛

 

04. What is a quote from a book that you love?

Since I’m a forgetful human bean and don’t write down great quotes from books, I don’t have any off the top of my head. But I know there were probably several when reading A Time to Die by Nadine Brandes.

 

05. In what environment do you feel most creative?

At my desk in the early morning. Or during a quiet evening drive.

 

06. What was the last movie you watched?

I think it was The Secret Life of Pets (the second one).

 

07. Do you like bacon?

YEEEEEEEESSSSS!

 

08. Do you have a phone?

I do (an iPhone). It’s a hand-me-down from my dad. I mainly asked for it to use for photography purposes, since I can’t really carry my big camera bag everywhere.

 

09. Do you blog on a computer, phone, or other device?

Primarily on my laptop. Very rarely, I will make a few minor edits on posts while away from my laptop (if I’m out of the house) on my phone.

 

10. Do you like thunderstorms?

Yes! I think they are great to go to sleep to, plus I love rainy weather. That’s reading weather right there.

 

11. You get to pick the family vacation destination. Where do you choose?

Probably a cabin in the woods or mountains some place where we can hike and explore and canoe.

Either that, or Kentucky (to the most horsey areas, of course).

01. What song gives you the most feels?

Novule Bianche by Ludovico Einaudi and songs by Lauren Daigle.

 

02. What’s the dumbest song you’ve ever heard?

Since I don’t listen to a lot of music with lyrics, I don’t have an answer for this one.

 

03. What’s a lie that you believed for a long time? (i.e. carrots make you have night vision.)

Lie: confidence comes from how you look and act and the things you have. (ooh, gettin’ deep here)

Yes, I believed this (and still struggle with believing it) for years. It stems from my flaw of comparing myself to others. Confidence comes from knowing who I am in Christ. That, and nothing else.

 

04. What’s your least favorite day of the week and why?

This is gonna sound weird and controversial…

Tuesday. Because it’s not Monday.

I actually don’t like Saturdays all that much either, and I don’t know why (poor Saturday).

 

05. What’s a tag you really want to do but nobody nominates you for?

Honestly, the only was was the Sunshine Blogger Award….but here I am! 😀

 

06. What do you hate about your blog?

Sadly, I allow myself to compare my blog with other blogs, so I never quite feel completely satisfied with my design and layout. But that’s my own fault…

Also, the regular font can be kind of hard to read.

 

07. What do you love about your blog?

You! I’m serious, you all make this blog worth it. I love the small community we have going here and the lovely comments you all leave. <3

 

08. What’s your biggest accomplishment?
