The 7 Questions Book Tag

Book tags are one of the best kinds of tags, aren’t they?

I was tagged by the awesome Dekreel @Inky Ramble Beast. Check out her blog, guys!

This tag has the usual rules of thanking the blogger that tagged you (THANK YOU, DEKREEL!), answering the questions and tagging more bloggers.

The questions…

01. What’s your favorite thing about reading?

Being transported to another world, or another person’s life and story. The possibility of reading another book that becomes one of my favorites that I fangirl much about. And I love it when I find those novels that really speak to me on a deep level. The ones that you hold against your heart after reading the last page.

02. What are three books you’ve read that have a satisfying ending?

The last book in the Out of Time trilogy by Nadine Brandes, 100 Days of Sunlight by Abbie Emmons, and Romanov by Nadine Brandes.

03. What are some of the oddest things you’ve used as bookmarks?

Another small book (don’t ask), receipts, the tiniest bits of napkin, string, my thumb, etc, etc…

04. Do you see yourself as a casual book-cat, an active bookworm, an obsessive book-dragon or some other kind of book-creature?

Probably an active bookworm. I read more than the average person and I LOVE reading, but I’m not one of those book-dragons that reads hundreds of books a year.

05. Do you have a least favorite book or series?

Ooh, this is tough.

I read the first book in the Bell Mountain series by Lee Duigon and did. not. enjoy. it. The story and characters felt a little flat.

It’s hard to say if this is my absolute least favorite or not, but I’m not sure if I’ll read the rest of the series (yes, I own all the books…).

06. What’s your favorite genre to read?

Currently, sci-fi/futuristic. I used to read a ton of historical fiction, then the pendulum swung to the other extreme.

07. What is one book or series you haven’t read but you really want to?

The Ravenwood Saga books by Morgan Busse. I got them at Realm Makers and the covers predict a pretty epic story so I am super excited to read them!

03. Are you one of those people who dog-ear???

04. Favorite author?

05. Favorite reading time drink?

06. What does your dream personal library look like?

07. What book would you love to be turned into a movie?

Have fun!

I loved it. Anastasia is one of my favorite real stories, so I was stoked to read Romanov. (I also went to see Anastasia on tour which was awesome!!) The protagonist dynamics were perfect. She was so strong and sassy. ;P
