Eden tagged me to share ten things that make me happy, so let’s dive into this!

|Ten things that make me happy…|

|Sunflowers|

I just smile every time I see sunflowers in a photo, outside, or for sale in full bouquets at the grocery store. Something about their big, bright yellow petals fills me with joy.

|Sunsets|

Beautiful, vivid sunsets make me feel so calm, reflective, inspired, and blessed. It’s such a wonderful showcase of the gorgeous world God has made.

|Laughter|

I love it when I’m with the people I love and I laugh so much that my cheeks are sore and I feel like I’m getting a six pack. 😀

|Art|

I love enjoying as many art forms as I can. I get so much inspiration and creative motivation from doing this. Some things that especially move me are powerful stories (of course), music, and singing.

|Autumn|

I know you didn’t see this coming…

I just get so happy when the season starts changing to fall! The cool, crisp weather, beautiful colors, evenings by the fireplace wrapped up in a warm blanket, hot cocoa, pumpkin spice lattes…what’s not to love?

|Prayer|

I was reminded of the wonder of prayer by Joy’s post here.  I agree with her; the fact that we, sinners, can converse with the God that made the universe is beyond amazing. Not only does He listen, but He cares.  What a blessing this is.

|Writer friends|

I went most of my writing life without knowing any other writers. I didn’t realize how much I needed them until I actually had them. I appreciate all the lovely people that I’ve come to know over the past couple years! (especially you, Kapeefers! You know who you are…)

|Family & good friends|

How can I not add this to the list? <3

|Horses|

I love everything about these creatures! I always feel so sore invigorated after getting to ride. And starting to learn horsemanship has been a super special experience.

|Stories that are close to my heart|

I love those books that just speak to my heart. The ones where I connect deeply with the protagonist and their journey. One example is the Out of Time series by Nadine Brandes….

…yes, I mentioned these books AGAIN. #fangirl

Of course, there are so many things that make me happy, but these are the first ten that came to mind. 🙂
