Review|The Story Hunter by Lindsay A. Franklin

Finales for a beloved series are both a treasured and sad thing.

And I read through The Story Hunter WAY too fast. I wanted it to last, to savor it. But you know it is when a book is just too good to put down.

Here are my thoughts about the final book in The Weaver Trilogy…

My Review

I’m very upset that I read this so fast…

It was so wonderful to slip back into this world. The storyworld of The Weaver Trilogy is still probably my favorite fictional world. The third and final book for the trilogy did not disappoint. I knew it wouldn’t. ๐Ÿ˜‰ All the same lovable characters (some not so lovable [I’m looking at you, Dray]) and high-stakes adventures. Hope, healing, and saving the world.

I’m SO GLAD Diggy got a POV in this book! I thought her story was so powerful and inspiring. And I just wanted to hug her the whole time. I love her spunk and independence. <3

And Tannie…ah, Tannie. I love this protagonist. I love how she grew from the farm girl in Pembrone to discovering what her storyweaving powers meant.
It’s so sad to let some of these characters go. I mean, I can always reread the books, but there will never be any new adventures, you know? ๐Ÿ™ But I’m still so thankful to have these amazing stories to come back to. <3

And also many tears were shed… Karlith was a surprising and unexpected death and I wAS NOT READY FOR IT. Why in the world did I expect all of them to come out of this battle alive??? *heart breaks*

Okay so all the #moremor fans rejoiced in this book. XD SO HAPPY to see Tannie and Mor’s relationship grow and blossom. Also, anyone else super glad to see Braith happy and with Kharn? <3

OKAY DID ANYONE ELSE CRY AT THE END OF THE BOOK DURING THE BATTLE WHEN TANWEN SAYS “I LOVE YOU, DADDY.” ??? Because I cried. Yes, I did.

So to conclude this ranting, fangirling review; this story is so moving, beautiful, hopeful, heartbreaking and moving. I highly recommend this trilogy. I can’t wait to see what future stories will come from Lindsay! <3

      Hmm…maybe 13 or 14+? I don’t know, I’m not very good about guessing an age group. ๐Ÿ™‚

ADSKDJLYFPDJ THIS BOOK!!! I also read it way too fast (read about 30 pages the night it arrived and finished it on Saturday ๐Ÿ˜). Iโ€™m so sad to leave this beautiful story world, but…consolation, I can read it many more times! ๐Ÿ™‚
TANNIE AND MOR ARE FINALLY TOGETHER! Their relationship is one of my favorite fictional romances EVER, and I was so happy to see them engaged and traveling with Diggy and Dafyth (๐Ÿ˜ฅ) at the end. ๐Ÿฅฐ
Also. THOSE DEATHS. Like Karlith! We need our loving Corsyth mama! And ZELYTH. I seriously did not see that coming. ๐Ÿ˜ซ
When I finished, I was a grinning pile of emotions and my family was very confused. ๐Ÿ˜‚
I loved reading your thoughts on this gorgeous conclusion. ๐Ÿ˜„
