Why I decided to potentially embarrass myself with weird facts, I don’t know.
But it was fun anyway.
And surprisingly hard to come up with fifty things.
Let’s just get this over with, shall we?…
001. I don’t like large bodies of water/deep water
002. I don’t like small talk (not really sure why)
003. My eyes tear up really easily when I laugh (yes, it’s annoying)
004. I know some Italian (Io ho un serpente e nello il mio stivale = I have a snake in my boot. At least…I think that’s what that means…)
005. I don’t use my thumbs when I type
006. I started taking ballet classes at 6 and did it for seven years (and even got on pointe!)
007. I like 60’s shows (Andy Griffith show, Dick Van Dyke show, Family Affair, etc.)
008. I’m afraid of heights (no, I don’t like roller coasters)
009. I think baby goats are one of the cutest animals on this planet
010. I have two dream vehicles: 1) a white Dodge Charger and 2) a white or black Dodge Ram 2500 truck 🙂
011. When I was a beginning writer I would increase the font size of my stories so that the page count would be longer and I would feel more accomplished…yeah…
012. My dream horse would be a black or bay thoroughbred gelding, no markings. 🙂
013. I’ve been taking horseback riding lessons for 7 years, and I’ve jumped a little bit too (about 2 ft.).
014. It’s on my bucket list to visit Amazima Ministries in Uganda.
015. I think the Lord of the Rings may be a littler overrated? (don’t hurt me)
016. The Backyardigans was one of my favorite childhood shows. And yes, I would most definitely watch an episode or two right now I dON’T CARE IF I’M ALMOST 20 YEARS OLD
017. I love anything entrepreneurial (part of why I want to be an indie author)
018. My dream home library would have white floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and a cozy reading nook by a big window.
019. Sunflowers are my favorite flower.
020. I don’t think there’s any such thing as too much cheese (or bacon either, for that matter)
021. If you ask me in public what my WIP is about I WILL panic (I’ll probably just tell you the genre)
022. I don’t like playing video games (but I’m pretty good at Mario Kart on the DS 😛 )
023. I used to want to start a business selling handmade goods

026. I didn’t like Tony Stark until I watched Endgame *cries*
027. As a kid, I HATED wearing jeans
028. I don’t like pink
029. I will plan for things even years in advance
030. Even though I like sci-fi, I don’t like anything to do with aliens
031. ^ That’s why I used to dislike Star Wars
032. I can’t stand to see a book damaged, even if it’s one I don’t like (it’s like nails on chalkboard for me)
033. I used to think I’d do something with music as a business
034. My strangest moment of insanity was when I realized I was eating a leftover burger in a bowl with a spoon. Yeah. I blame sleep-deprivation, okay?

039. I think orange juice is the best juice on this planet

044. I don’t like people touching my face
045. My dream dog would be a black Dutch shepherd named Shadow

048. Sweaters and crewneck sweatshirt are the BEST thing to wear don’t even try to argue with me on that

050. I secretly would love to be really good at a fighting style…but I’m not…
Well…I don’t think I embarrassed myself too much. 😉 (Maybe you disagree…). Tell me in the comments if you guys relate to anything on this list!
Tell me 5 random things about you!

Okay this was awesome. XD
I don’t like deep water because I can’t swim. But I do like large bodies of water.
I love small talk. My eyes teat up super easily too. Italian sounds super nice but the languages I kinda know are Latin and Swedish.
I use my left pointer and my right thumb to type.
I used to want to do ballet.
I love Andy Griffith.
I am terrified of heights.
Baby goats are super cute.
I don’t have any dream vehicle.
I can’t ride and I’m scared of horses but I looove watching them.
I’ve never read and will never read LOTR.
I watched The Backyardigans in French as a kid.
I also want to be an indie author.
My dream home library would totally match yours.
Roses are my favorite flower.
Agree about the cheese and bacon.
I love talking of my WIPs but I always sound very incoherent.
I love jean skirts but all the ones I own are too small or worn to death.
I love pink.
I will also plan for things even years in advance.
Same on the book damaging.
And the mystery novel.
And the matte paperback covers.
I’m 5’1 and the tallest of my sisters so far.
I hate orange juice.
I love sand.
Worms I have no problem with. They’re cool.
My dream dog would be a German shepherd.
Also really bad at accents.
I think I’d enjoy public speaking…
I hate sweaters and crewneck sweatshirts.
And I’m stealing this idea. XD
So cool, Katja! I loved reading your opinions about those things. Yes please do steal this idea! XD
DO NOT TEMPT ME WITH A BLACK DODGE I WANT SO BADLY TO BE A DIEHARD FORD GIRL.
My next-youngest brother and my mom can impersonate just about anyone and my middle brother can copy sounds perfectly, and I cannot fake a single accent out there. 😂
This was so relatable. 🤣
LOL XD
Why are accents so hard???
Glad you enjoyed it, Kassie! <3
I was very interested in these facts… until I saw the “I think Lord of the Rings might be overrated”… and then my vision glazed over and I lost focus. As you might know, I am a die-hard fan of LOTR, and love it to the moon and back, so it’s very hard to bite my tongue and not list all the reasons you ought to love it. But… *takes a deep breath* I understand that it’s not everybody’s cup of tea.
But! I too am 5’7” (the current tallest of all my siblings, since they are all a lot younger than me, and I’m also taller than my mom), black Dodge Ram trucks are REALLY cool, I have never broken a bone either, and even though I enjoy dreaming up speeches and what I’d throw in for comic relief, I hate public speaking too. 😮
Ooooh and I adore the Andy Griffith Show. <33
Yay! 😀
Lol the funny thing is I thought of you when I was writing that part because I knew you would disagree XD
COOL! Sounds like we’re very similar, with the exception of the LOTR part. 😉
I love the names of your plants!! I used to hate wearing jeans as a child, too? I like them now. But I felt like they were restrictive and the texture was annoying.
Thanks! 😀 People on Instagram helped with that. 😉 YES same! They just felt so weird…
I didn’t know most of these facts, so it was cool and fun to read this.
I was the same with Tony Stark too! He was an eh character and then Endgame happened… It changed my opinion forever. I appreciate him more as a character now. 🙂
I haven’t broken a bone either.
If someone asks me about my WIP I will freak out too, then I will have a mind blank, then I will stumble to get some decent blurb without telling them random thoughts that are spoilers. 😂
Fun fact: I was taller than my mum since I was twelve.
😀
YES! Now I just kinda cry every time I see his face…
It seems a lot of us have trouble with people asking about our WIPs XD
Wow! My sister is really tall for her age too. She’s six years younger than me but taller than me.
I was tall for my age, now I am average with my age. Funny how that works.
I think my moment of insanity was in college when I tried to open a can of Mandarine oranges with a knife and a fork because I didn’t have a can opener. The next day, when I finally borrowed an opener from our neighbors, I discovered I had been trying to open it upside down and if I had only flipped it over, I would have discovered one of those pull tabs!!!!! In my defense, that was one of the hardest weeks of my college life. XD
Lol I could see myself doing that too XD I guess college is to blame for a lot of insanity…
[…] just did a whole post on random facts about me. So I’ll leave it at that. […]
Public speaking is the number one fear, I think. Either that or death… but those are top two for obvious reasons. XD Honestly, I love public speaking. But the only public speaking I do is at the Sunday meetings of the church. We have a period of time where anyone can stand up and share something they’ve enjoyed of Christ that week. I usually do that, and you don’t plan for sharing. You just… do. It can be awkward when I don’t know the right words, but Christ will speak what He will speak, so it really doesn’t matter; it could really benefit someone.
That’s so awesome that you share at your Sunday church meetings! 😀 <3
Wow, I loved learning all these things about you! 🤗 Several of your facts we share in common (like not using your thumbs when you type, lovin’ those old TV shows, disliking public speaking, and being the shortest in your fam). ☺️
😀 We DO have a lot in common! I’m especially glad I’m not the only writer who doesn’t use her thumbs when she types lol XD
Needed a break from college, so I thought I’d show you the ones we have in common.
7, 11, 15, 16, 22, 24, 28, 29, 34, 36, 39, 41, 46.
I only have a few things that are a dusty light pink (I HATE wearing hot pink), pink isn’t my favorite either. But I used to wear it all the time when I was a kid. *hits palm to forehead*
My family owns a Dodge Ram btw. And for some odd reason, I’ve been OBSESSED with the color gray lately. 😉
And.. Before I go, I must tell you. I am a little jealous that you’re taller than me. I’m 5’5 1/2. Now when we meet in person, I’m gonna have to wear shoes with a taller heel. XD
