01. What is the first book you remember reading?

This is a tough one…

I can’t remember the very first, but I remember being a pretty big Strawberry Shortcake fan (anyone else?) when I was little, and I think I still have a couple of the books I would’ve read.

 

02. First book you remember writing?

Ooh…do we have to talk about this?

Okay. My very first book I wrote, was a story about a family of (talking) bees, specifically the brother and sister. I drew pictures in it and stapled the lined paper together to make a book (I was 7 I think). 🙂

 

03. Do you prefer Winter or Summer?

WINTER! Yes, eventually the frigid cold does gets annoying, but I’d take that any day over scorching heat. I love pulling out my thick blankets, soft sweaters, and warm socks. <3

 

04. Glitter. Is it shimmering innocent sparkles or the parasitic bane of existence that wants your skin?

Glitter should be illegal.

I think that states my view on it pretty well.

 

05. Would you rather have a phoenix or a dragon?

Hmmmmmmmm…..dragon. But like, a cute big-eyed blue baby one. 😛

 

06. Which one of your characters is most likely to break through the fourth wall and find you?

…all of them? Because what character wouldn’t take advantage of the chance to beat up the writer that put them through such misery?

 

07. Would you rather have a bow and arrows or a knife?

A knife is definitely better for close-combat (and they’re pretty cool looking) but I think a bow and arrow are superior in epicness.

 

08. Do you keep a candy stash or eat candy when you get it?

I’ve never been a huge candy eater. Chocolate is my thing. The only time I have a stash is after Christmas when I receive chocolate as a gift. 🙂

 

09. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever made?

I consider myself a pretty artsy and crafty person, but nothing comes to mind for this one??? I guess I’m not prone to making crazy things.

10. How did you get interested in writing?

I think it was because of all the stories my mom would read us kids growing up. It instilled in me a love for story that led me to create my own.

 

11. Do you like writing/drawing/working with music?

Yes! Especially drawing and working. With writing, it depends on the book I’m working on and what mood I’m in; sometimes music will just be distracting. I like to listen to mostly instrumental music.

• I’m a senior in highschool.
• I’ve been playing piano for ten years
• And riding horses for almost six 🙂
• Despite this being the 21st century, I own a very large stack of CDs. Don’t judge me.
• I dream of owning a baby grande piano, a steel string AND nylon string guitar, and a baritone ukulele…on top of the piano, guitar, and two ukuleles I already own. 😛
• I want to own a hobby farm! (goats in pajamas anyone?)
• My taste for coffee is growing. #help
• I’ve started collecting mugs. Only have three so far. Yup.
• I’ve had people say I look 14, but no, I’m 18 (tell me in the comments how old you think I was. I’m honestly kinda scared to find out)
• I looooove the forests and mountains. <3
• Photography is another hobby of mine. I’ve thought of starting an Etsy shop to sell photos.
